always loved the food and wonderful employees
My gosh, the worst Chinese food ever. I should have learned my lesson 6 months ago when I ordered Beef Broccoli and it was inedible. Yesterday, I thought “how could anyone screw up General Tso’s Chicken”. My word, it was sicker than the Beef Broccoli. There were more slivered onions in it than chicken and what chicken was in it was dried out like toothpicks and was inedible. It tasted like gag. There’s $10.15 I wasted. No wonder they don’t take credit cards as too many people would be disputing the charge. I heading back tomorrow (closed today) to complain and give them back their azz tasting food. Don’t eat here!!!
I think the bad reviews on here are just people who don't understand this isn't "American" Chinese food. This is authentic Chinese food. By far one of the best Chinese Food places I've been too in the USA, and I've traveled to Hong Kong and Singapore and would compare them the same style and quality. Which is top notch!
Good food good prices.
Favorite place for hot and sour soup!
It's one of those pain in the tush Chinese places that only takes cash. However, the food was good at the price was reasonable oh, especially the wonton soup
Great place! I called ahead for pickup and had a great experience!
Best Chinese food and service in the area!
Very good food...
This place is the best place the rice is delicious
*Bland & Overpriced. Nang’s has monopolized on being one of only two restaurants with their style of food in Nappanee. That being said, it’s blatantly obvious that they’ve upcharged & cut corners on flavor, etc.
They don't have actual general tsao's chicken, they use some weird flat noodles in their lo mein, and it's a bit overpriced. Other than that, everything else is pretty typical for take out Chinese, including that they don't take credit cards...
Great food, nothing fancy about the restaurant but always great food
Everything was soggy and salty. Sorry I gave it a second chance, still disappointed.
Great food, fast service!
Delicious
Really good food and quick service
Very Disappointed. Cold food, the general tsos was the worst me and my wifehave ever had. The rice tasted awful. The crab rangoon was nasty. Vwry disappointed overall.
Amazing food and service!
I had General Tso's with a Crab Rangoon, and a coke. The entree was salty and very small for the price of almost $11, the Crab Rangoon was cold and chewy, also they only accept cash and local checks which is inconvenient. I have no reason to ever go again.
Cashew chicken is fantastic. Always good service & food. Just remember to bring cash, cards not accepted.
Cash only. Small portions. my $12 ($16 with atm fee from the place next door) dinner combo had six pieces of chicken that weren't even crispy and the veggies were mostly onion. The crab Rangoon was very tough also. I ordered takeout and had to ask for a lid for my drink and had to walk back in because they didn't include any plasticware.
Good food, not pricey and good, fast service.
Very good food.
Good food 👍👌👌
The food was tasteless
Very good food. Wish they had more vegan options though.
Good food. Nang is accommodating with substitutions if you ask... Get Jason for your waiter for great service.
This was sub par Chinese food at best. And pretty overpriced for the portions. They only use Styrofoam plates and plastic forks when you eat in.
Love Nang's. It's always fast and good. The staff are always great as well
Food was not good at all I wanted hot and sour soup i got something scary
Not sure what the person was talking about with the cash/check only at this restaurant not being posted. It has been posted on the doors to the restaurant for years! This is a great little restaurant with wonderful food and friendly people. The owner does most of the cooking and it is fresh and delicious (not to mention speedy)!
Great Chinese food served no frills on disposable plates. You have to try Mr. Nang's homemade spicy garlic hot sauce! Wait staff is usually friendly.
Friendly staff. Food has a pre-packaged/fresh-from-the-box feel (looking at you, peas), and the flavor is a little lacking in intensity for my taste. Not bad. Just the corners cut are reflected in the food's end quality.
IGNORE THOSE TALKING ABOUT THE WAITI would call in beforehand, otherwise you should plan on waiting. They make it on the spot. This place is mostly for take out so they don't have everything ready before you order. It's my favorite place to eat in the entire town, but be warned on it cash and local check only! The payment method and its location are the only downers! I always love the chicken fried rice with an egg roll. There is a steating area, but people are rarely sitting around except for their order. I often am ordering for a group of 7 or so and it's usually pretty fast.
Good food and service
This will always be my favorite Chinese restaurant in the world. It is different from all other Chinese restaurants to me. Their rice tastes like it just came off of a smokey grill. Their crab rangoons aren't sweet and sugary like other restaurants which to me makes it tastes way better with the grilled flavored rice. Their meat isn't rubbery or gristley it's just perfect... This place is just delicious! The service is wonderful, too and the owners get to know all of their customers. It is definitely one of the best ma and paw Chinese places. It's a must try!
Worst excuse for a Chinese restaurant I have ever come across. The food was basic and menu choice the same.
the day waitress was so rude to my family, they talked about us like we were not even there and rude service just made the food taste that much worse! I will never go back there, even if it was free!
Amazing food!! Eat here once a week and never disappointed.
Egg rolls are good. That's why they get 2. Very small portions for the price. Ordered general tso, received about an ice cream scoop of rice, carrots and onions in some watered down soy sauce. I'm not making this up. 5 pieces of chicken that were not fried, taste like they were boiled. And it cost 10 bucks. Never going back again.
The best AUTHENTIC sweet & sour shrimp in Indiana.
Worst Chinese food we've ever eaten! Ridiculously expensive too. The General Tsao's Chicken was an unbreaded chicken veggie medley without the traditional spicey red sauce and someone forgot to put crabmeat in the $4.50 Crab Rangoon. We got lots of veggies in pretend Cashew and Sweet & Sour Chicken, fried rice, mustard and fortune cookies for 4 adults and 2 kids for $70 though. Huge ripoff! Never going there again!
Never had their food, but was told it's great. I ordered general tso $12.00 meal and get 6 pieces of chicken rest were veggies. I asked for no onions and it's filled with onions. The portion was very small especially for $12.00. The chicken was as soggy as it gets. The rice was so fried it was burnt. First and last time I go here. Definitely not worth the money. And to those that gave this a good rating. Clearly hasn't experienced many Chinese places to think this food was good.
Good food Friendly, prompt service Will return often!
Great place to eat!
Great service, quirky vibe you can only get in Nappanee. Food is always hot & fresh - not buffet style cold floppy mystery food. great for carry out or dine in, if you don't mind foam plates. 😃
My family and I have been enjoying Nang's for as long as I can remember! We love the family only slightly more than we love Nang's food 💗
Great price for food service was fast. I recommend the Lo Mein and Fried rice
The food is amazing! Authentic too! Best service I've ever experienced! Usually very busy on weekends, but very worth the wait!! They also make the food as it's ordered so you can change it to your liking!!
